After installation of bitdefender software click on the ‘Start Using Bitdefender’ button from the program’s main menu. Bitdefender will itself check for necessary updates. Now on the main menu turn on ransomware remediation which will offer you additional protection from malwares. Then you need to click on activate subscription in the ‘My Subscriptions’ option of the main menu. An activation code will be sent to your email id, copy it from there and paste it and finally click on confirm activation.
